 Role: Sr. Project Manager 

Location: Tampa, Florida 

• Create Product Features and manage roadmap, development and implementation, maintenance of critical business applications in Business-to-Business payments: Commercial Payments Gateway platform.
• Create and manage Product features from concept through production; engaging the necessary teams to shape a rich and engaging user experience.
• Create and own a healthy Product feature backlog for continuous pipeline of work for the technology team to work upon in each Sprint/Iteration and PI (Program Increment).
•  Define and manage Product roadmap, translate business owners/stakeholders needs, accelerate development and release vision by working with key stakeholders.
•  Brainstorm with cross-functional business partners to identify and refine requirements, perform cost benefit analysis to quantify prioritization and align it towards the product roadmap.
•  Identify and manage complex cross-project dependencies by working with program leadership.
•  Define and develop key metrics for success and plans to track and realize stated benefits of the product features. Assess product KPIs and identify opportunities to grow adoption, improve profitability, and/or expand use cases.
• Co-ordinate with the stakeholders to ensure timeliness and quality of deliverables and own communications and facilitate resolution of risks, issues, and changes tied to the product backlog.
• Conduct daily standup meetings with Architects, Developers and QA to monitor the progress of American Express – Commercial Payments Gateway platform features and identify risks, issues and dependencies to delivery of the project.
• Requires in-depth knowledge of software and financial industry trends and developments to improve AP Automation solutions. Business and Technical Knowledge of B2B Payment Processing is also required. Create various functional documents and lead project rationalization and prioritization.
• Provide SME (Subject Matter Expertise) in B2B (Business to Business) Payments and integrations with AP (Account Payable) automation and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) 
• Determine requirement readiness, collaborate and brainstorm end-to-end solution design, and lead rationalization and prioritization.
• Control changes to program documents--from the business case down to the individual software module.
• Requires in-depth knowledge of various SDLC methodologies including Waterfall and Agile to lead and guide cross functional teams for efficient delivery of project.
• Lead and serve as a mentor to the Agile product development teams and process (Lean, SAFe, Kanban) including writing user stories, defining support documents, creating user guides and conducting usability testing.
• Drive consistent development practices with tools and common components.
• Identify exciting opportunities for adopting new technology to solve existing needs and predicting future challenges.
•  For various business objectives, provide architectural guidance and design approaches which helps teams with faster execution and delivery.
• Architect, design, prototype solutions to support business strategies, deliver business value, and shape technology strategies.
•  Provide architectural thought leadership on application platforms, translate strategic vision into business capabilities and an appropriate design for project delivery.
• Design RESTful APIs to be consumed by internal and external applications to enable B2B (Business- to-Business) payment processing capabilities and work with Apigee teams for Onboarding REST APIs and security setup.
• Improve and maintained programs and processes for quality. Improved defect identification and remediation cycles. Implemented programs to identify and drive early test adoption and Agile principles in all projects, validated functional and non-functional requirements.
•  Coordinate with UAT teams on testing resources and timelines, content being tested, ensuring requirements trace back to test scenarios and cases, and ensuring who is responsible for the requirements being tested.
•  Post UAT, validated the test results and ensure test results are as expected and provided sign off.

Bachelor’s degree is required in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or Information Technology or Computer Information Systems or education + experience which is equivalent to a  Bachelor’s degree   in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or Information Technology or Computer Information Systems.
